THE COOK PROGRAM

A brilliant and fun cooking course to develop skills and confidence around the preparation of food. Over 9 weeks, participants will prepare, eat and gain an overview of different styles and types of cooking. You’ll also learn how to cook for a large group during our monthly, community lunches. The objective of this course is to develop skills, social connection, and self-confidence to seek further study or work in hospitality.

No matter the size of your urban growing space, learn to grow nutrient-dense food, using regenerative gardening practices.

PROCREATE WORKSHOP – MAKING ART ON AN iPAD

Unleash your creativity and use your iPad to create stunning digital art. Learn how to get the most out of Procreate’s intuitive tools to sketch, paint, shade, use colour and apply effects. Your iPad will soon become your mobile digital art studio.

Artist Parul Sen has a background in graphic design and now heads up her own studio Pink Wattle.
Participants need to bring their own iPad and apple pencil with Procreate software downloaded (and the software uploaded prior to the class. Procreate can be downloaded for $15 (a one off time purchase).

DIY BEESWAX WRAPS WORKSHOP

Eliminate plastic in your kitchen by learning about the brilliant alternative to cling wrap. Emma will teach you how to make your own Beeswax Wraps which you can use to cover your leftovers, wrap your lunch and keep your vegetables fresher for longer!
