INTRO TO SEWING
Learn to sew from the very beginning. Over six weeks you’ll learn how to use a machine, and how to make a simple piece of clothing

LIFE DRAWING
A new, short course to introduce participants to drawing the human figure. Our experienced will guide both beginner and more experienced students in capturing the human form on paper.

OIL PAINTING – STILL LIFE
Learn to paint with Maria Peña, Columbian-Australian Visual Artist.
Through a five session Oil Painting Course you will approach to the use of color and develop a sensibility for tones, intensity and value. Experiment combining primary, secondary and tertiary colors in order to bring volumes and to create a “STILL LIFE” composition on canvas.
At the end of the course you will have created your first beautiful Still Life Oil Painting on canvas.

Cooking, Gardening & Job Skills
THE COOK PROGRAM
A new course to develop skills and confidence around the preparation of food. Over 9 weeks, participants will gain an overview of different styles and types of cooking, as well as Food Safety certification. GROWING FOOD IN SMALL SPACES
Don’t let a lack of space stop you from growing your own veggies and herbs. If you have a balcony, a courtyard or a patio, there are ways you can maximize space to create your own little oasis. In this hands-on course you’ll learn, amongst other things, how to grow food in pots and containers and what plants to grow and when.

FOOD SAFETY
This is a nationally accredited course in Hygienic Practices for Food Safety (SITXFSA005)
This course will cover how to prevent the contamination of food and your responsibilities as a food handler.
