All our Board members are volunteers and comply with our BNH Code of Conduct and undergo probity checks.

What is the role of the Board?

  • Driving the strategic direction of the organisation by approving and monitoring important policies and plans
  • Compliance – checking that BNH operates in accordance with legal requirements
  • Monitoring financial reports and approving the annual budget

What is involved in being a member of the Board?

The Board usually meets once every six weeks.  In addition to preparing for the meeting, Board members are encouraged to support BNH by volunteering their expertise and attending events.

The Board has various sub-committees comprising Board members and other members of BNH.  Becoming involved in a sub-committee is another great way to support BNH. Please contact ceo@bnhc.vic.edu.au if you are interested in getting involved.
