the following free workshops will be on offer throughout the day.
Summer Seedling Planting Workshop
As part of the Brunswick Multicultural Festival, join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll discover the ins and outs of summer seedlings and how to prepare your own garden. Led by our resident horticulturist, Laurel Coad, this interactive session will walk you through the planting process as we work together to plant one of our garden beds. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your hands dirty and help our garden thrive!

Pot and Plant Your Own Summer Seedlings
Drop by and pot up your own summer seedlings to take home! Guided by our horticulturist, Laurel Coad, you’ll receive expert answers to all your summer veggie questions, including what to plant, how to care for your seedlings, and tips on organic pest and disease management.

Pizza Dough Cooking Demonstration
Join us for a cooking demo led by BNH’s resident baking extraordinaire, Cass Hogan! You’ll learn how to elevate your pizza-making skills at home, with plenty of tasting along the way. Also includes a tour of the community garden and small harvest.

Pandan Crepe Cooking Demonstration
Cass Hogan is back for another cooking demo, who will guide you through how to make the perfect Indonesian pandan crape.
Time: 12.30-1.30pm

Kids Craft Workshop – Ages 6yrs +
In this children’s stained-glass workshop, kids will explore creativity and learn about its history using paper-based materials. Each child will design and create a unique piece to take home. Facilitated by one of our incredible BNH creative art tutors, Lizette Vieyra. Sessions from:
